LAKEVILLE PRODUCTIONS, founded by Emmy winning producer, Jacqueline Glover (“Jackie”), and Tony nominated producer, Mari Nakachi, is a forward-thinking production company focused on crafting compelling stories through film and theatre. Specializing in both non-fiction and narrative work, the team combines industry expertise and a strong creative vision to produce engaging and entertaining projects across the United States and Asia. LAKEVILLE PRODUCTIONS is dedicated to championing narratives that transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries, fostering understanding and connection through the universal language of film and theater.
Inaugural projects of LAKEVILLE PRODUCTIONS include Natchez, winner of the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival’s ‘Best Documentary Feature,’ and the Tokyo tour of the Obie award winning play The Nosebleed.
Jackie Glover has produced 10 Emmy and 5 Oscar award winning films and currently is the Executive Director of Harvard's Black Film Project, a newly created initiative that supports leading and emerging filmmakers focusing on the Black experience. Previously, Jackie was at Disney, as Head of ABC News Documentary Films and Head of Documentary Programming for Onyx Collective, where she developed, produced, and acquired nonfiction projects including Oscar winning documentary, Summer of Soul. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of HBO Documentary Films, overseeing all aspects of the department's programming, including development, acquisitions, and production.
Jackie holds a bachelor's in fine arts from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and is a member of the documentary branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Producers Guild Of America.
For over two decades, Mari Nakachi has produced impactful theatre and visual media. Her acclaimed productions have garnered numerous awards, including a Tony Award nomination, a Lucille Lortel Award, a Dramatist Guild Award, and an Outer Critics Award. Her work in visual media includes co-directing and producing a documentary for Asahi TV and translating the poignant Japanese children’s book Every Year When August Comes into English, which subsequently reached Danish and Swedish audiences, underscoring the power of storytelling to transcend cultural boundaries. Previously, Mari was a partner at Carrmaquest Productions where she produced the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner with Friends. Mari has also contributed her expertise as a panelist for the “Made in NY: Behind the Scenes” Industry Series event at the Apollo Theatre, presented by the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and The Broadway League.
Mari is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. Her commitment to the arts began early with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and continues through her service on the board of the Second Stage Theater.
